has more than 30 years experience as a pilot,
flight instructor, pilot examiner and aviation safety counselor, in many
different piston and turbine aircraft. With more than 15
years experience in part 135 charter operation as
Director of Operations and Chief Pilot. Mr. Itani
has served as Chief flight Instructor at Aviation
Training Center for over 10 years. At present, he is current
and typed in several Jets and various
multiengine aircrafts including Citation, King Air, Navajo and many other
light twins. Frequently he conducts both initial pilot certification
as well as renewal/reinstatement Flight Instructor
licenses. He is

61.58 RECURRENT TRAINING
This course is designed to sharpen your knowledge of the aircraft systems,
aircraft performance, as well as the IFR environment. Emphasis is placed on
real-world scenarios, learning from prior accidents, and practical
application of systems knowledge. Take advantage of the small class sizes
and use the time to get your questions answered. The instructor will tailor
the class to meet your individual needs and cover topics that are important
to you. The course is also designed to help you pass your checkride with
ease and have fun in the process.
The
recurrent Pilot in Command training course satisfies the annual recurrent
training requirement dictated by 61.58(a). This course consists of a 2 day
systems review and a PPE (pilot proficiency exam) flight check in the
aircraft. Tasks to be demonstrated are the same as in the initial type
rating course.
